Kelley Shaw began her hair career at the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill, graduating the summer of 2006 and then working at a premier salon in Chapel Hill for over 3 years. In addition to Aveda training, her education background includes cutting and styling classes from Bumble and bumble and a color/cutting class from Goldwell. She is looking forward to fusing this knowledge with the L’Oreal line used at Haven Salon. 

Kelley approaches hair as an artist. In cutting, she enjoys working with the texture and natural hair patterns to achieve a look that is suitable to the client, but one that also fits with that person’s lifestyle. She especially enjoys cutting bobs and short razor cuts. Color then adds the extra dimension, shine and manageability to accent the cut.
